Welcome Dordt and Trinity Classroom Aides
Lydia Baker, a senior at Trinity, is a teacher aide during 7th grade math class.
Faith Hoksbergen, a junior at Dordt University, is teacher aiding in our classroom on Tuesday afternoons during study hall and math class.
We are so thankful for their work in our classroom this semester!

Noon lunch: please bring $4 to school by Thursday. The food committee is providing super nachos and a bar.
Rube Goldberg-Friday, December 3
You are invited to see the 7th/8th grade Rube Goldberg projects in action. Student projects will be showcased in our classroom and hallway on Friday, December 3. They will be demonstrated from 12:30-3:00 that afternoon. All projects will be demonstrated repeatedly during the open house. Come help us celebrate the work of our middle school science students!
Dissecting With 7th-grade
The 7th graders dissected a heart, lungs, and eyes of a deer, and a chicken. It was an adventure!

Hosting hot lunch for the school
7th and 8th grade students, with the help of some mothers, made waffles, eggs, and sausages for the whole school for noon lunch.

Beach Themed Party Day
Friday, October 1, the party committee is planning a beach-themed party day. Feel free to wear shirts and shorts in keeping with this theme. The food committee is planning a pizza lunch for that day and asks that you each bring $3 to school by Thursday if you wish to have pizza with the class. Feel free to bring your own pop to have with your pizza.

Camp Foster
On Friday, May 7, the 7th-grade class went on their class trip to Camp Foster.

ISASP standardized tests are scheduled to be given the week of April 19-23. Please refrain from making appointments that week if they can be scheduled another time.
Our Camp Foster field trip is scheduled for May 7. Watch for a slip to come home the week after spring break. This permission slip will need to be returned to school.
