Thank you to all of you who helped your student be creative with their instrument. Some of the instruments were complex. Some were basic, but still had a great sound. Good job students! Here are a some of the pictures.

Party Day

On Friday, April 6, the party and food committees are planning a party day. The theme is beach and summertime. The menu will be chicken strips, fries, shakes, and fudge. Stay tuned for how much money you will be asked to bring for the lunch on Friday.

This year's Engineering Design project: Arcade Fun

Here are some of our arcade pictures from Friday. For more pictures, visit the Facebook page called 7th/8th Grades Hull PRCS. Request to become a member if you are not one already!

Chapel

Due to conflicts in Rev. De Boer's schedule, the time of chapel has been changed to 2:30PM. Chapel is this coming Friday, February 2. You are welcome to take your student home directly after chapel (there will not be refreshments afterwards since chapel is close to the end of the school day).

I hope many of you can join us to help us praise the Lord through song, instrument, and learning from God's word through the speech.

Quite a few of the students have piano preludes for chapel. Preludes will begin around 2:25. Feel free to come early and enjoy the music.

7th grade: Friday the 26th Noon Lunch Provided

The party committee is providing a noon lunch of stromboli, chips and pop for 7th grade students on Friday. Students do not have to bring in any money for the meal since the class has money left over from some past events.

7th/8th Grade Debate Pictures

Students held debates for their Language Arts classes. The topics for debate were a second gym for our school, more sports practices in grade school, mandatory involvement in sports at the grade school level, experimental testing on animals, and a four day school week. Students did a fabulous job of defending their positions and using critical thinking skills.

Christmas Party Pictures-Fun Times!

Iowa Basics Skills Tests will begin tomorrow and continue all through next week. Please make sure that your child has #2 pencils at school for the testing.

Grading Program-Student Access

In July or August I sent out emails that gave parents of 7th graders the student access information for Engrade, our online grading program. Some students regularly check their grades, and others do not still know how to access them.  For those who wish to be able to access their grades, go to the parent's email account and search for Engrade or Engrade Pro in past emails. You should be able to find the email I sent at the end of summer which has instructions on how to log in to the student account.
Exams for 7th grade:

Monday-Bible
Tuesday: Science
Wednesday: History
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to check out our Rube Goldberg projects and to the students for doing a great job on them!
