11-10/11-11 Thursday and Friday Noon Lunches
Thursday: Mrs. Baker will provide hot dogs and mac and cheese for noon lunch for 7th & 8th graders.
Friday: Students can bring money for pizza. They are ordering Pizza Ranch together.
Mexican Celebration Friday, October 14
Friday we made a Mexican noon lunch together. Menu items were quesadillas with toppings, chips and salsa, and refried beans.
This lunch was a celebration of Mr. Brummel's geography unit on Mexico.
Our Classroom Volunteer
Mrs. Verna Westra volunteers in our classroom each day. We are so thankful for the many ways she contributes to help it out!
Hawaiian Party Day
Friday, September 16, 7th grade will have party day. Students may dress up with the Hawaiian theme.

TransOva Genetics Science Trip
Seventh and eighth grade students got a tour of TransOva Genetics for science class Monday afternoon. Here are a few pictures.
7th/8th Chapel
The 7th/8th graders will hold their chapel on Friday, Sept. 30, at 8:45.M., on the topic of being Swift Hearers. Rev. Regnerus will be our speaker.

Load bus and trailer at school @12:30.

7th/8th Dordt University Math Bee-May 16
The Dordt Math Bee is virtual once again this year.
All of the 7th graders will compete in it, and one team of five 8th graders. It will take place from 11-1 in the 7th grade room.
7th graders and Maya, Simon, Ty, Samantha, and Mattias, please bring $3 to school ahead of that day for a pizza lunch. We'll order Pizza Ranch for between the tests. I'll provide pop.

Welcome Dordt and Trinity Classroom Aides
Lydia Baker, a senior at Trinity, is a teacher aide during 7th grade math class.
Faith Hoksbergen, a junior at Dordt University, is teacher aiding in our classroom on Tuesday afternoons during study hall and math class.
We are so thankful for their work in our classroom this semester!

Noon lunch: please bring $4 to school by Thursday. The food committee is providing super nachos and a bar.
